These relatively new products are made solely from elephant dung which is a sustainable, eco-friendly and abundant source of material ideal for making paper, the ultimate in recycling!
The products are traded fairly and imported directly from the Thai Elephant Conservation Centre in Northern Thailand to Green Elephant in Devon, England.
Our different yet contemporary range of stationery and gifts are all handmade and attractively finished by local people living near to the rural setting of the centre. They range from the colourful, ethnic styles of our notebooks and writing paper to our unusual and unique keyrings and pencil boxes.
These beautifully handcrafted items not only provide a thoughtful gift for friends and loved ones – or an interesting first anniversary present, but they also help to ensure the continued welfare and future for these majestic and captivating mammals.
